HashMiner.info’s owners assert that they run a mining farm where they mine seven different cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Namecoin, and Blackcoin. The distribution of one’s investment among these 7 coins is up to them.

What is Hashminer.io Offering its Clients?

Recently, Hashminer.io, which is being looked at as potential fraud, claimed to provide customers with trading chances in investment offers as well as various other services.

According to their website, they provide you with an investment programme that aims to efficiently manage client financial assets inside the asset management service that is available on the cryptocurrency markets for everyone, as well as the creation of Bitcoin mining processes by a well-known company from the United Kingdom.

Additionally, the Financial Conduct Authority has placed the company on its warning list of unlicensed businesses in the UK. On the website, Hashminer.io mentions that it is a regulated company by the FCA but it isn’t true. ‘This firm is not authorized by us and is targeting people in the UK,’ the FCA declares firmly. If something goes wrong, you won’t have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), making it unlikely that you’ll receive your money back.

Then Hashminer.io gives us two license numbers, as we tried to investigate the first license which is 13249413 shows up on the Companies House (CH). It has the right name and address but it says that the company has been dissolved this Aug 2022. While the second license (SC657123) leads to a company name and addresses that we couldn’t find any links to Hashminer.io and there was no mention of an affiliate on the Hashminer.io website.

Ownership is the first indicator we use to determine whether a particular service is genuine or a scam. Who is responsible for the service? 

There is a great possibility that we are dealing with a scam when this information is lacking, as it is with HashMiner.io. Why else would they wish to keep their identities a secret? Indeed, we have no information on the owners of HashMiner.io. Since they are using a privacy service, not even a Whois.com search yields any results.

In terms of contacting HashMiner.info, there is only an email address (admin@hashminer.io) and a contact form on the website. The location of the business or mining farm is unknown. There isn’t even a phone number given.

Sincerely to say, we haven’t come across any reviews that support what Hashminer.io’s sales website claims. We searched the entire internet for positive reviews and client feedback but were unable. 

This even explains why the company is keeping investors from knowing important facts. Other than that, we were unable to uncover any online reviews, which is presumably because the site is so new. The website is mentioned in two threads on BeerMoneyForum. Currently nothing on BitcoinTalk. Given all of this, we believe it is quite clear that HashMiner.io is a scam.
